Average health implies a health history that is not perfect, but not compromised by major health conditions. Things like well-controlled hypertension, or a past minor health event can fall within these guidelines. Height/weight build within healthy ranges and limited/minor prescription drug use is still expected.

Substandard health indicates a higher than average risk of needing long-term care in the future due to pre-existing medical conditions. Height/weight build might be slightly above or below normal ranges, and prescription drug use may be more extensive.

Poor health implies a very high risk of needing long-term care in the future, or even being close to needing care today. A poor health history may contain several high-risk health conditions, extensive prescription drug use, and/or a height/weight build significantly above or below normal ranges.
